Meditation Healing
Why Meditation healing – the teachings of the Buddha?
Emotions and beliefs, play a major part in your health and well-being
Due to our own cultural limitations, most of us inevitably think of one religion as against another – one spiritual path in opposition to all other varieties. For a Christian a Jew a Muslim or an agnostic- Buddhism is not a religion but a path of “liberation.” It is about how to live in a way that ends suffering and brings peace.
For Siddhartha Gautama, who became the Buddha, five hundred years B.C. all religions were wanting. When he reached the state called nirvana or enlightenment, he touched something beyond all this teaching, beliefs and practices, which does not relate to a religion, goes beyond religion, and is more of a philosophy or ‘way of life.”
Trying to alleviate people’s sufferings, he decided to help them and start teaching. Meditation healing. After teaching for many years, at the end of his life, he maintained that everything he had ever said was only about suffering and the cessation of suffering. We can benefit of his teachings because Buddhism explains apparent injustice and inequality around the world, and it provides a code of practice or way of life that leads to true happiness.
In the Western countries, Buddhism is becoming very popular because has answers to many of the problems in modern materialistic societies. It also includes a deep understanding of the human mind (and natural therapies) which many psychologists and therapists around the world are now discovering to be very effective.
The Buddha’s teachings have Four Noble Truths; this wisdom can be understood and tested by anyone. Buddhism teaches that the solutions to our problems are within us not outside. The Buddha asked all his followers not to take his word as true, but rather to test the teachings for themselves; in this way, each person decides and takes responsibility for their personal actions and understanding. This makes Buddhism less of a fixed package of beliefs, and more of a teaching that each person learns and uses in their private way.
The Four Noble Truths
Truth #1- The first truth is that life is suffering; life includes pain, getting old, disease, and ultimately death. We also endure psychological suffering like loneliness frustration, fear, embarrassment, disappointment and anger.
Truth #2 – The cause of suffering. We will suffer if we expect other people to conform to our expectation, if we want others to like us, if we do not get something, we want, etc., In other words, getting what you want does not guarantee happiness.
Truth # 3 – there is a way out of this frustration, a way to let go. Happiness can be attained; true happiness and contentment are possible. If we give up useless craving and learn to live each day at a time (not dwelling in the past or the imagined future) later we can become happy and free. We afterwards have more time and energy to help others. This is Nirvana.
Truth # 4 – What the kind of life that releases us from suffering looks like.
This last one involves Right view, Right Thinking, Right Speech, Right Action, Right Livelihood, Right Mindfulness, Right Diligence and Right Concentration. The Buddha’s focus was practical, not moral or speculative. In other words, this is simply how to escape from sufferings.
Buddhism teaches that the solutions to our problems are within ourselves, not outside. The only way to stop the sufferings is practicing MEDITATION healing.
In our Western culture, everything that matters is outside, the house we live in, the car we drive, the clothes we wear, the education we get, and we add more…everyday. If you are carrying stressful concerns, burdens and sadness, if you suffer from anxiety, it is time to let go. Metaphysical Healing navigates in your own thoughts.
You can choose to rid off anything that does no longer serve you. Life is meant to be a joyous experience. When you release your limiting thoughts and believe and you surrender to the flow of life, magic happens. This is a place of great magic. Welcome home!
