The Healing of a  Healer

A HEALER can be a Therapist, a Counselor, a Life-coach, a Tarot Reader, a friend and more; this applies to all the professionals that “have a shoulder to cry on”. They are directed towards helping others. Performing an important role in society, they give a chance to those around them to regain balance. Still, the function of facilitating the transition into the new eon of greater peace and compassion is not easy. Far from being rosy, the other side of the coin can be difficult to handle.

This dark side of the Moon is something that needs to be addressed, especially if you yourself are a therapist or a psychic counselor. No one is able to produce an endless amount of energy. Spiritual and physical exhaustion is very real. It can cause damage and even trigger depression. It’s time to stop and think. How can you protect yourself? How do you heal a healer?

Press the reset button to recharge your psychic powers

Recharging your batteries have to be neither numerous nor particularly complex. In fact, the recipe can be surprisingly simple. Working as an intuitive healer is not limited to helping others. You can also help yourself. These down-to-earth,  practices can help you reset your thoughts:

  • Getting under a shower will easily divert your thoughts.
  • Taking a walk (perhaps with your beloved pet) can also be beneficial.
  • Listen to some uplifting music or read a good book.
  • Dare to explore the great outdoors.
  • Realign your chakras through meditation or prayer.
  • Practice deep breathing, even if only for 10 minutes per day.
  • Get in touch with your spiritual core. Find what works for you. No glove fits every hand.
  • Try reading the Tarot. The 78 cards of the Major and Minor Arcana carry potent archetypal images; they can guide you through your inner turmoil.
  • Whatever you do – take it easy. Stop what you are doing and listen to your heart. Only then can you begin the healing process.

Get to know yourself because the key lies within your soul. Be practical about it before you resort to more complex solutions.

Create a “protective bubble” and assume a healthy distance

We have covered a few different ways of self-healing. It is now important to mention one of the most effective. You must find a way to disassociate yourself from other people’s problems. Developing a healthy distance can literally save your life. This does not mean you won’t empathize. Quite the contrary. You will be able to observe the situation more objectively. Taking it to heart can have extreme consequences. Imagine accumulating the problems of every person you encounter. Sounds dreadful, doesn’t it? Developing a protective bubble, a shield, if you will, is important for every spiritual warrior. It allows you to perform your sacred role without any damage. The more you conserve your strength and empathy, the more you will be able to do in the long run.

Dare to ask for help from a spiritual counselor

Unfortunately, sometimes you won’t be able to cope on your own. There is no shame in admitting this. Everyone needs a shoulder to cry on. The role of a therapist can indeed be overwhelming. It could prove to be a life-changing decision. Regardless of whether you’re having issues with inner bonding or loving yourself; healing therapy with a spiritual counselor will boost your confidence. Coupled with prayer and meditation, it gives you a chance to create a protective bubble and remain on top of your game. You will be able to perform your mission even better and give your very best as a therapist, life coach, or intuitive healer. Reach out and be open to new ideas.
